Format

How the Six Nations Is Played.

Five rounds

Each of the six teams plays the other five once, across about six weeks, with home and away alternating from one year to the next.

Super Saturday

The final round puts all three matches on one day, usually with the title still undecided.

Championship, Triple Crown and Grand Slam

The table decides the title. A team that wins all five matches takes the Grand Slam.
